Description We are on the lookout for a Database Developer to join our team in the banking industry, located in Sugar Land, Texas. As a Database Developer, your role will be centered around creating and managing databases for customer applications, ensuring accurate data records, and resolving any data-related issues. This role provides an opportunity for long-term contract employment.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing relational databases with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

• Developing and managing applications using ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and either C# or VB.net.

• Implementing reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, SSRS or similar analytic tools to generate reports and dashboards.

• Adhering to data management standards such as data governance.

• Collaborating with non-technical users as an effective analyst to translate their needs into technical requirements.

• Utilizing version control tools such as GIT or DevOps.

• Demonstrating a self-driven approach towards achieving specific results within tight timeframes.

• Exhibiting strong interpersonal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Managing and maintaining databases and database objects.

• Utilizing cloud technologies and data warehousing for efficient data management.

• Creating dashboards to present data in a user-friendly manner.

• Using business intelligence (BI) and AB testing to support business decisions. Requirements • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies

• Substantial experience in Database Development

• Familiarity with Database Object handling

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in Informatica

• Experience in AB Testing

• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI)

• Ability to create Business Requirement Documents

• Experience in creating Dashboards

• Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and practices

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment
