As a Receiving Clerk, you’ll become a part of this mission by helping to keep records of incoming shipments & inspecting for quality. You’ll make a difference by utilizing your strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills to get the job done.

Job Description

• Earn $16.00 per hour

• Full-Time (Monday-Friday; 6am-2:30pm)

• 1120 Harvey Lane, Suffield, CT 06078

You will contribute by:

• Greeting incoming outside truck drivers and directing to proper unloading bay

• Entering purchase order receipts into computer system and printing receiving tags for use by Receivers

• Contacting carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for delivery of materials

• Conferring and corresponding with customers, vendors and others to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

Your work environment may include:

• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
