Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are looking for a skilled Barista to prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty drinks while delivering excellent customer service. The Barista will ensure each beverage is crafted to perfection, maintain a clean workspace, and interact with customers in a friendly manner. Additional duties include taking orders, processing payments, recommending drinks, and restocking supplies, all while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee beverages such as espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks according to company standards.
Operate coffee machines and other equipment to brew coffee and espresso-based drinks.
Take customer orders and handle cash or card transactions using POS systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including wiping counters and cleaning machines.
Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries throughout the shift.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Educate customers about different coffee varieties, brewing methods, and drink customization options.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
At least 2 years of experience as a barista
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment (espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with good communication skills
Open to working a flexible or rotating schedule
Willing to work in SBFZ, Olongapo City
