The Residential team is the driving force behind our flagship site, realestate.com.au . When you join the Resi team, you join a cross-functional group of folk representing product, IT, sales and marketing, supported by PR, communications, HR, finance, legal – all the people you need to create products our consumers love and customers value. With realestate.com.au being the number one destination for people interested in property in Australia, as you can imagine - the group of legends working on our little red house are very passionate about what they do.
What the role is all about
The Account Partner supports the Residential Sales team in the following ways:
Achieve revenue targets within defined territory
Identify and close new opportunities and protect existing customer relationships to achieve revenue targets
Ensure uptake of additional advertising products by all customers
Implement organisation initiatives in order to achieve initiative targets
Provide accurate forecasts to State Manager regarding the opportunity pipeline and revenue growth
Identify gap fill initiatives to ensure achievement of targets
Identify sales opportunities for other REA services, e.g. Media, Developer, Commercial etc and engage specialist sales resources as required to achieve the revenue targets
Achieve targets by selling solutions not products to customers
Develop a systematic approach to the education and training of customers within designated territory on a regular basis
Ensure that all levels have the skills and understanding to on-sell REA products to vendors including Principals, Sales Managers, agents, property managers and admin support
Provide on-going scheduling of education and training sessions
Who we’re looking for
Care factor = high! A person who will go the extra mile because they genuinely care about results and relationships and the people they deal with.
Someone with a few runs on the board - Proven account management and sales experience and evidence of achieving sales targets essential
Knowledge of property and marketing methods helpful
Advertising and online experience desirable
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Previous use of CRM systems desirable
Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)
Someone who can positively and actively contribute to our awesome culture.
A person who is comfortable with ongoing change and ambiguity and can operate effectively in this kind of environment.
