Under the direction of the General Manager, this position tracks inventory and stock changes. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory controls, verifying quantities of inbound shipments, performing daily/ weekly cycle counting, overseeing annual physical inventory processes, maintaining inventory transactions, and maintaining bin locations in warehouse.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Tasks:

  • Maintain 100% inventory accuracy by keeping track of all inventories received, issued, transferred, and shipped.

  • All data entry to be done using ERP system.

  • Processes all inventory transactions in a timely manner according to policies and procedures.

  • Performs cycle counts of all inventory items.

  • Ensure the warehouse and inventory control areas are kept clean and organized.

  • All inventory will be kept in its proper location and clearly labeled.

  • Verifies accuracy of shipments received against packing list and purchase order.

  • Resolves discrepancies or disputes concerning inventoried items, materials, parts, and components.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year ERP experience

  • Experience working with Workwise or SAP preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years inventory control experience required.

  • Minimum of 6 months of Warehouse, shipping & receiving or any other supply chain duties

  • Forklift driving experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift and or move up to 25-pounds.

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong work ethic and eye for detail.

  • Basic mathematical skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as bills of materials and inventory records.

  • Ability to prepare reports on current inventory of critical production materials.

  • Ability to learn new management software for tracking shipping and inventory.
