BRP US INC Engineering Technician in STURTEVANT, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - BELOIT, WI BRP is seeking an engineering technician to help test and develop the next generation of boats and engines. Job responsibilities include boat rigging and on-water product testing and development, root-cause analysis, fabrication and assembly of prototypes, and data acquisition and analysis. YOU\'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Extensive on-water boat testing. Boat rigging, including engines, controls, gauges, props and all related systems. Conduct product development, analyze data, document and communicate results and recommendations. Responsible for solving problems, conducting root-cause analysis, and communicating the findings. Develop and fabricate components and test fixtures. Prepare for, and participate in, various on-site and off-site meetings for marketing, management, dealers, OEM\'s, and customers. Maintain and repair vehicles during said events. Participate in the maintenance of a functional, safe and productive working environment. Order parts and accessories, load and unload trucks, clean vehicles YOU\'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Required: Associates degree or Marine Trade School degree with 2+ years of experience OR 5+ years of dealership experience. Possess strong mechanical aptitude with applicable experience. Proficiency in internal combustion engine theory and construction. Welding, fabrication & machine shop skills. Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas. Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments. Preferred: Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Data acquisition experience.
