About the role:
The Junior HR Business Partner delivers best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the site to achieve its operating plan. This role is responsible for manpower planning and recruitment, building pipelines for talent and career progression as well as coordination and administration a variety of HR programs, initiatives and activities for Operations and other supporting roles at the level of Middle Management.
Act as a liaison between departments/divisions, operational management and staff, compensation and benefits, legal counsel, and outside service providers to provide timely and accurate HR support for the business.
With limited supervision of Plant HR Lead coordinate various aspects of recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations matters.
Staying in close cooperation with Work Agencies and ensuring high quality of cooperation.
Ensure role classifications and salaries within site team are mapped in line with the market and internal relativities.
Ensure effective onboarding to all functions across the site
Support Middle Managers by ensuring an available pipeline of potential employees through various labor channels such as interns, foreign workers, local workers, agency personnel.
Support Middle Managers with communication, coaching and performance management as required.
Build and manage annual training budget for the site for blue collar employees.
Coordinate ‘on the job training’ for students at tech school, providing work experience, onboarding and using this as an approach to build our talent pipeline.
Be a first line HR contact for operational employees in the site.
Be a Watermark Champion for the site and ensure participation hours each year, leveraging Watermark to engage managers and employees through meaningful activities which also benefit families and the community.
Support 5S and other improvement projects in the workplace.
Support other HR projects as required.
Drive talent management and succession planning deeper in the business for blue collar positions, and N-1 Middle Managers, completing Talent Review process with Middle Managers for key positions and identifying critical gaps. Coach supervisors and managers to address them and ensure development actions are in place to build our pipeline of successors.
Act as coach/mentor for operations rotational program employees, ensuring they have a thorough onboarding process, regular check-in meetings and a development plan to maximize their rotational experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent skills in Human Resources, Business or related field
3+ years of professional experience in HR/recruitment in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and understanding of local labor market
Recruitment experience
English at least B2

Hybrid - 50% office based position
