Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Reconcile taxes for direct-access, for our clients, ensuring accuracy * Proactively contact clients to resolve any discrepancies and out-of-balance issues * Review and rebalance client accounts after each payroll run * Assist clients in posting requested changes promptly and accurately * Maintain expert-level knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, regulations, and best practices * Monitor payroll records to ensure tax transactions are recorded correctly * Deliver excellent customer service through clear, positive, and effective communication via phone, email, and/or fax, contributing to client satisfaction and retention * Collaborate with the team, ensuring strong communication and coordination in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Maintain regular, predictable on-site attendance and engage in face-to-face collaboration with coworkers * Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support department needs Required Skills and Experience: * Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance * Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external agencies * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently * Exceptional organizational and time-management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly learn and master additional software applications as needed Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
