Ohio Means Jobs - Cuyahoga County is sourcing Machine Operators for a leading company in the smart card manufacturing industry.  First, second and third shift positions are available. Position Overview:

Seeking detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operators to support our automated card production process. This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery while ensuring production quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

· Operate automated machinery in the production process, including printing and assembling.

· Monitor machine performance, perform maintenance, and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.

· Ensure product quality through inspections, adhering to company standards.

· Keep detailed records of production output, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve processes.

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Basic understanding of production procedures and machine operations.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Must be able to learn and adapt quickly.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.

· Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

· Basic math and computer skills.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Vocational training or certification in machinery operation or maintenance.

· Knowledge of standard printing equipment and regulations.

Work Hours and Schedule:

This is a full-time position. Shifts may vary, with potential requirements for evening or weekend work based on production needs:

Training Shift Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:45 pm

• First Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM

• Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:45 PM

• Third Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:45 AM (To be announced)

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and work on their feet for extended periods.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a modern, clean room manufacturing facility. While the work environment is generally clean and organized, employees may encounter moderate noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required.
