Plant Maintenance Technician

About the role:

Our client is recruiting for full-time day and night shift Aggregate Plant Maintenance Technicians in the Stringtown, OK area.

Shift differential for night shift (6pm - 6am).

All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilities include assisting in maintenance & production functions of the quarry.


What you'll be doing:

  • Safely perform maintenance activities to insure plant efficiency. Prioritize Safety, then Quality, followed by Production.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas.

  • Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times.

  • Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies to assure that environmental, health and safety are the first priority. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve EHS

  • Ensure all work areas are clean, tidy and organized at all times

  • Trains and coaches other employees when needed

  • Must be willing to work through lunch breaks or take a lunch break at staggered times as required by customer demands

  • Responsible for maintaining the plant manufacturing equipment in a state of readiness.

  • Complete work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns.

  • Perform the appropriate plant equipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance for both fixed and mobile equipment.

  • Operate plant equipment as necessary to meet the needs of production.

  • Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned.


We're looking for:

Required Education: High School diploma/GED

Other Training/Certifications Required: Maintenance experience preferred

Required Work Experience: 0-1 Years

Travel Requirements: Some travel throughout the immediate area

Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills
