Job Title: Experienced Mechanical DesignerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced mechanical designer responsible for taking new designs from cradle to grave using AutoCAD 3D. The first project involves working off of engineering diagrams to place process systems for the dairy/pharma industry onto skids. Understanding how to place valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping into the unit for functionality is crucial. The designer must ensure that the equipment is serviceable, considering whether someone could fit their hand into the unit with a tool to remove components such as pumps or valves. The role involves working off of P&IDs and being able to create them, as well as creating equipment lists and using these lists to create drawings. Training will not be provided, and the role is open to remote candidates if a local candidate cannot be found.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Stratford, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

This position will work out of the main office in the engineering department. The environment is clean and quiet, with an office cubicle setup equipped with AutoCAD 3D and CADWorks. Remote work is an option if a local candidate is not available.
