Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Safety & Health Generalist Intern. In this role, you will Work the Safety and Health Management in the implementation of an effective program in an effort to meet or exceed safety & health goals. Coordinate and present training programs as required by federal, state, local and company requirements. Facilitate and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis. Perform inspections. Review, write and revise procedures and standard work as it relates to safety & health. Assist in lifting device inspections, risk assessments, personal protective equipment placarding/assessments and job safety analysis.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical Safety and Health support to the Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging business environment and gain experience working for a large company. Must be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications:

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field at an accredited college or university to be considered for this position

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software

- Ability to track, trend and analyze data

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be flexible

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
