Role Description The Arborist Training Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing arborist training programs and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This role serves as the primary contact for clients, manages training records, coordinates class scheduling, and collaborates with training personnel. Additionally, the position involves maintaining communication with external stakeholders, optimizing operational costs, and ensuring a seamless training experience for students and professionals in the field. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Training Administration for LMS System (Currently Moodle) to include: Create new courses Update courses as requested Run reports as requested Troubleshoot any issues within the LMS (Currently Moodle) Phone Management Troubleshoot hardware and carrier issues for ACRT INC employees Act as consultant to issues the Help Desk needs assistance with handling Work with cell phone providers (AT&T/Verizon) reps to revise pool plans as necessary (typically on an annual basis) School Director Duties: Ensure training program maintains compliance according to the Ohio State Board of Colleges and Career Schools. Meet with State Board representatives every two years to tour the classroom and fill out appropriate renewal paperwork. Travel to Columbus as needed for School Director training. Work with appropriate internal departments to furnish evidence of school earnings, expenditures, and attendance. Maintain school records for seven years. Welcome students to company headquarters for classes; ensure all participants know emergency procedures while on school property. Training Coordinator: Act as first point of contact for clients interested in arborist training. Assist clients with identifying training needs. Respond to bids for training classes. Create invoicing information for training classes and send to Accounting for processing. Ensure yearly line clearance test is translated to Spanish. Keep and maintain training records. Schedule training classes. Gather training class information from clients and report to instructor. Work with the Marketing department to write or plan training-specific articles for industry publications. Watch training videos from clients, consult with instructors on client performance, review tests, provide feedback, and prepare certificates for successfully passing candidates. Analyze department data to reduce costs as needed, work with Accounting on unpaid invoices. Maintain communication with trainers on a weekly basis. Maintain off-site storage locker with department equipment. Order new equipment for classes as needed. Inform appropriate clients of ACRT certification expiration and assist with recertification. Prepare proposals and contracts for training classes. Maintain inventory for department that involves ordering and picking up instruction manuals. Prepare Continuing Education Unit (CEU) forms for ISA and TCIA on a yearly basis. Enter CEU information online and/or email appropriate parties at the ISA and TCIA to ensure clients are awarded CEUs accordingly.
