Job Title: Weekend Shift - General Production

Job Description

We are a precision metal fabrication company serving industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, Architectural, and more. We are seeking General Production Workers who will rotate between Assembly, Fabrication, and Spot Welding departments.

Responsibilities

• Float between Assembly, Fabrication, and Spot Welding departments.

• Be adaptable to performing different jobs daily.

• Assemble boxes for USPS.

• Use hand and power tools.

• Perform kitting and taping responsibilities.

• Wipe down oils and shop grease to maintain cleanliness.

• Operate basic machinery.

• Run metal sheets through deburring machines.

• Perform simple spot welding duties (training provided).

Essential Skills

• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or general production experience.

• Experience in assembly, spot welding, and machine operating.

• Proficiency with mechanical tasks.

• Ability to perform inspections.

• Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly.

• Machine operating skills.

• Spot welding skills.

Work Environment

Weekend Shift: 2:00pm-2:30am Friday-Sunday. Optional overtime is available, up to 5 hours per week before or after the shift. The shop is climate controlled and clean. Employees working the weekend shift will work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours, including a $2 shift premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
