Job Title: Delivery Driver iCIMS ID:2024-5529 # Positions: 1 Hire Type: Temporary Full-Time Work Days: Monday - Friday, May be required to work other shifts and weekends. Work Shift: 1 First shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Location: MBTA Stoughton 200 Shuman Avenue Stoughton, MA 02072 Description Overview: Delivery Drivers will perform functions to assist the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Warehousing & Logistics Support contract. HOURLY PAY RATE: \$20.00 Per hour (Plus OT) Responsibilities: Shall perform a variety of delivery driver duties, to include, but not limited to the following: Shall be licensed in accordance with local, state, or federal laws Shall possess the basic knowledge and skills required to operate required vehicle Material must be picked up at or delivered to the correct destination in a timely manner Responsible for the successful and accurate completion of all MANCON required logs and safety checks, daily Verifying materials against receiving, shipping, storage and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damage Routing materials to prescribed storage, freight forward and/or shipping and receipt locations Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed shipping methods Process and/or affix, shipment, pick/pack and other paperwork and reports as required Operates hand or power trucks and/or forklift in performing truck loading, unloading and delivery of material. Deliveries are typically within the local area and include, but are not limited to emergency and scheduled overnight deliveries. Inspect vehicles for safety prior to operation Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Driver\'s License Ability to obtain and maintain a Forklift License DOT Medical Card Preferred Qualifications: - CDL Driver\'s License - 2 Years Commercial Driving Experience - 2 Years Forklift Operation Experience - 2 Years Commercial/Government Warehouse Experience - High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements: Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
