Job Title: Manufacturing Production Technician. Paid weekly $$$

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Production Technician for our manufacturing shop. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for operating various power tools such as circular saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, riveting guns, and more. You will also be welding materials including aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. The role involves operating machinery such as press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, hydraulic hoists, and overhead cranes. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including crouching, bending, reaching, walking, and lifting weights up to 50 lbs for the majority of your shift.

Hard Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Story City, Iowa.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a busy manufacturing shop with moving/mechanical parts. The team is composed of 120 production employees, typically working in groups of 2-5 people. Work attire includes steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and at minimum short sleeve shirts. Shorts, tank tops, or cut-offs are not allowed. We provide PPE including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Our hours are Monday to Friday with shifts from 5:00am - 3:30pm and 3:15pm - 1:45am. Optional overtime is available on Saturdays or by coming in early/leaving late.
