Responsibilities

Pay Transparency Statement:

The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program. 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Enhance supplier relations through development, communication, and monitoring of annual and monthly business plans

  • Understand and communicate the supplier’s marketing plans and strategies to managers, sales and delivery teams

  • Plan and monitor special events, work with’s, and customer contact. Maximize consumer sampling opportunities

  • Communicate regularly with the brand managers on upcoming events, promotions and opportunities to advance the business in the market

  • Involve supplier alliances and sponsorships with professional teams, social groups, fan clubs and industry organizations

  • Be well versed with sales data systems in order to: prepare targeted plans, track activity, and report results versus goals

  • Assist with inventory by monitoring seasonal and special order inventory levels. Work with suppliers and brand managers to create reliable suggested orders to assist the Purchasing Manager

  • Monitor accounts to verify sales execution in conjunction with planned expectation

  • Report execution deficiencies to sales management

  • Manage the Point of Sale budget and work closely with suppliers on the order by providing suggestions that work in conjunction with retail needs

  • Assure that all brand related activity requiring supplier reimbursement is correctly documented and provided to accounting on a timely basis

  • Develop and distribute internal and external sales materials and newsletters

  • Assist with Chain contract submission

  • Manage price letter updates and sales teams notifications

  • Any other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience

  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft office experience preferred

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Ability to communicate with customers, management and co workers

  • Strong presentation skills either one on one or in a group setting

  • College degree preferred

  • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance with at least the minimum state required coverage levels

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
