Roles & Responsibilities:
Involvement in the design, tender, procurement and delivery phases of new projects.
Involvement in the installation/configuration of infrastructure for new customers and improvement/enhancement of existing customers
Ability to oversee the performance of infrastructure across the infrastructure managed services customer base and in-house services
Ability to monitor the performance of servers, proactively identify issues/abnormalities that may pose threat to customers services
Ability to review performance logs, identify trends, patterns and detect irregular behaviours
Mange the monitoring solution set up, update, enhance, modify the parameters, as the infrastructure is updated or upgraded
Ensure servers are backed up, security measures are in place, and there is automatic failover in case of downtime
Proactively and reactively applying vulnerability patches to managed sites
Communicate with end-customer to understand the underlying issue and provide timely feedback
Work proactively with others across the organization to ensure prompt resolution
Provide support to colleagues through knowledge sharing and promoting knowledge sharing initiatives
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Experience in Security tools like Qualys, OpenVAS, crowdstrike, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit
Well versed in networking OSI layer, TCP/IP stack, VPN, Firewalls, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, FTP/SFTP,TLS, SSL, Apache, MSSQL, MySQL, Microsoft exchange services, Splunk, Qulays, CVE
Experience in scripting like Terraform, Bash, Ansible, VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience in AWS, RedHat, SLES
Good communication skills, with strong ability for analysis and documentation
Experience in vulnerability testing tools, performance monitoring tools and logging tools
Audit Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365 Admin, cloud IAM
Desired Skills:
Trained for CCNA in network, routers and switches
Migrating On-premises infrastructure to cloud Azure/GCP
Automating new deployments via terraform code and native cloud tools
Build, deploy and manage on-perm client production machinesGood communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills
Customer focus - ability to build and develop customer & supplier relationships
Organisational agility
Effective time management
Results driven outlook
