We manage over 600 million accounts on our loyalty systems, serving over 2000 global clients. We offer an end-to-end outsourced service and are at the forefront of next-generation loyalty solutions, including Personalized Card Linked Offers and Pay with Reward Points. Our global team consists of 900 loyalty specialists working across the world, leading the integration of loyalty with payments.

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic issuer business development professional to identify loyalty sales opportunities among financial institutions in Northern European division (Netherlands, Baltics and Nordics countries). Working alongside the broader Mastercard sales and account teams, you will specialize in creating compelling propositions for clients using our diverse range of loyalty solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with solution architects to sell complex loyalty platforms and programs. This position is an individual contributor role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell loyalty solutions and services to financial institutions in the Northern European region (including and not limited to new and emerging banks, fintechs, merchants and acquirers).

  • Assist banks in redefining their loyalty strategies to achieve better business results by transitioning to a Mastercard loyalty solution.

  • Develop persuasive sales narratives, technical solutions, and client loyalty/commercial loyalty models. Demonstrate expertise when presenting to clients during pitches and workshops.

  • Support markets objectives by tailoring and deploying solutions on a market wide basis when possible.

  • Facilitate deal closures through contracting and pricing approvals.

  • Provide client and market feedback loop to internal functions (e.g. product, marketing) on tools and programs

All About You

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended.

  • You have hands-on experience in Platform / SaaS sales or/ and sales in the financial services industry (merchant sales experience is a plus).

  • You have the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing –in English and in Swedish. Additional Nordic language is an advantage.

  • You are a dynamic and ambitious sales expert with high energy.

  • You possess excellent relationship management skills, presentation skills, a good level of financial and technical acumen, and extensive experience in loyalty and loyalty program management. Preferably, with a consultative sales approach.
