Involved in the day-to-day operations forEITServices owned by the Cloud and Infrastructure Services Department. Plan, develop, test, and document service offerings. Lead multiple department projects from initiation to completion. Provide technical support for allOSU/A&M institutions. Own any incidents from problem investigation to resolution including training and knowledge management in the Service desk. Proactively work to improve skills through training, professional development, and self-guided training from manuals, technical reports, or collaborative experiences.
Communication skills Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clear, grammatically correct English. Requires interaction with supervisors, colleagues, students, using tact, discretion, and independent judgement.
Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbents salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
