CACI is seeking a solution focused Deputy Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment located in Northern VA. The Deputy Project Manager supports the Program Manager in responding to tasks, RFI’s and RFP’s, and in management of resources, cost, schedule, risk, and mitigations. Additionally, the Deputy Project Manager will provide project management of one or multiple technical projects as part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team supporting rapid and innovative development of counter unmanned system capabilities that increase survivability, and warfighter effectiveness in support of the Department of Defense and National Agencies.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsible for the management, performance, and completion of projects, tasks, or delivery orders as part of a program.

  • Perform Project Management tasks and responsibilities for assigned project(s) (schedule, cost, prepare slides, review/verify contract deliverables, track project action items)

  • Coordinate tasks with the production and development team.

  • Assist with labor planning and resource planning to ensure contracts stay within budget.

  • Attend customer meetings and events as required.

  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Assists with budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program group/function.

  • Respond to RFI’s and RFP’s as needed.

  • Complete day to day tasks assigned by the Program Manager.

  • Provide support to the Program Manager on complex tasks and projects.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of Project Management experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects providing mission capability to the Government.

  • Be eligible to obtain Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Experience performing manpower utilization, procurement of materials and equipment, standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors, cost, budget, and managing to milestones).

  • Direct experience in managing and coordinating various internal departments to accomplish programmatic success.

  • Requires direct relevant experience with the federal acquisition process, interacting directly with the Government customer, proposal preparation/processes, bid negotiations and contract administration.

  • Direct experience in managing and coordinating various internal departments to accomplish programmatic success.

  • Experience in Microsoft Project and Excel

  • Experience in building schedules and managing tasks to ensure work is completed on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CAPM or PMP certified

  • Experience working RFP’s and RFI’s

  • Experience working DOD contracts

  • Well versed in Microsoft Project and Excel

  • Management experience in leading teams

  • Experience in working with product development

  • Experience in working with business development.

  • Knowledge of CUAS Systems and Electronic Warfare

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
