Nightwing Applications Developer in Sterling, Virginia

NightWing is looking for an Applications Developer to serve on our Data Science Team. You should have demonstrated experience analyzing large amounts of raw data for processing through our AI/ML tools. We will rely on you to build dependable data products to identify duplicates in data and their entities. In this role, you should be highly analytical, be a critical thinker, and a problem-solver in interpreting data with a passion in machine-learning and research.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to extract usable data from valuable data sources in a clear readable manner to include automation

• Experience in using machine learning tools to create and optimize classifiers

• Ability to process structured and unstructured data with a proficiency in handling imperfections in data

• Process and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis

• Ability to propose solutions and strategies to customers with the ability to collaborate with Business and IT Teams

• Ability to analyze large amounts of data through the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms

• Knowledge of statistical programming languages like Python and database query languages like SQL.

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst

• Experience in Data Mining

• Understanding of machine learning and operations research

• Knowledge of R, SQL, Scala, Python, or Java is highly recommended

• Experience with data frameworks (e.g. gensim)
