Do you enjoy maintaining a company's production schedule? We are hiring a Master Planner to join an established team at a manufacturing company in Sterling Heights, MI. The Master Planner is responsible for creating, executing, and monitoring the production schedule. You will also have two planners who report to you! Experience in manufacturing production planning/scheduling is a must. Any aerospace or automotive experience would be helpful as well. Read on to learn more - and today if interested!

salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Plan, issue, and control material demand to meet production scheduling requirements

• Advise management on status of work in process, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that materials are available as needed

• Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectations

• Analyze MRP demand regularly

• Prepare outside process purchase orders while tracking and expediting as needed

• Identify critical shortages / roadblocks
