CAD Designer

H.A. Industries is seeking a self-motivated, punctual, and courteous individual to work in our CAD department.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

Design Automation equipment and models while determining the best materials, methods and components for the required applications.

• Generate 3D models and 2D drawings for components / assemblies with the SolidWorks CAD software.
• Work with Sales Create Concepts for quoting.
• Prepare incoming CAD data for quotations.
• Provide support for manufacturing.

Ideal candidates need:

Ten years equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Experience with SolidWorks design software
• Must have working knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (Intermediate Level)
• Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently.
• Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills.
• Able to take direction and finish tasks in a timely manner.
• Possesses mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to understand drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Able to work in a Team environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
