Job Description

Tarleton State University is looking to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions at our Stephenville Campus. We are looking for masters and doctorally-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate and graduate face-to-face courses in the following disciplines: Marketing and Computer Information Systems.

Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in Marketing or Computer Information Systems Online courses are delivered via Blackboard and candidates for these positions should have experience with this or a similar course management system.

Preferred Education/Experience: An earned doctorate in Marketing or Computer Information Systems.

Adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary and part-time basis. Adjunct instructors teaching courses for credit must meet the same requirements for professional and scholarly preparation as their full-time counterparts teaching in the same discipline.

All positions are security-sensitive. Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution’s verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution’s procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check.
