Job Description

The Department of English and Languages seeks to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions for its growing Online and Off-Campus Initiatives in Waco and Fort worth, Texas and on-campus offerings in Stephenville. We are looking for masters and doctorally-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate online and face-to-face courses this coming academic year.

Position Location: Stephenville, Waco and Fort Worth

Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired.

Preferred Education/Experience: An earned doctorate in the discipline (or closely related field) with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching area(s). Prior college teaching experience and appropriate professional certifications and/or licenses are a plus. Online courses are delivered via Blackboard and candidates for these positions should have experience with this or a similar course management system.
