Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Stephen, MN. From: 02/10/2025 - 12/10/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, 7:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant, spray and cultivate grain. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Maintain farm machinery, and notify Supervisor of any machinery malfunctions. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Drive trucks to haul crops, tools , supplies or farmworkers. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. All work related tools, supplies and equipment will be provided by the employer. Crops: Corn, Dry Beans, Soybeans, Spring Wheat. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a Class D driver's license or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
