This position is for a MetOcean Data Analyst with a company* *located in Stennis Space Center, MS.
Job Specifications or Qualifications: BS Meteorology, Oceanography, or Physical Sciences. Background or experience in analyzing meteorological and oceanographic observations (e.g. winds, atmospheric pressure, temperatures) in the marine environment and identifying observational errors of all types. Familiarity of operating characteristics of automated monitoring systems and the ability to recognize system performance anomalies. Some experience with scientific programming and analysis tools. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products as well as Google Suite applications. Strong communication and customer service skills
