This Position is for a Configuration Management Lead with a work location in Stennis, MS.
Responsibilities
Seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for various future opportunities. Currently seeking a Configuration Management Lead.
The team supports technical solutions associated with the collection, processing, and exploitation of assured, relevant, and timely oceanographic, meteorological, hydrographic, precise time and astrometric information for the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC). Candidates who join the team play an integral role in the design, development, and innovative modernization of the IT infrastructure used to provide meteorology and oceanography support to warfighters afloat and ashore. Will maintain, upgrade, and modernize the IT infrastructure to include engineering, software development, administration, and data management.

Must be a US Citizen and hold a DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred
This is full time on site in Stennis, MS with potential telework in the future.
This work includes but is not limited to:
Responsible for configuration management planning; Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits; Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation; Responsible for configuration change control; Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software; Responsible for configuration status accounting; Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration; Responsible for configuration audits; Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met by the as-built software; Supports the Software Quality Assurance process audits.
Qualifications:
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5, HS12+ years in lieu of degree; Hold a DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred; 3+ years managing and supervising a geographically dispersed workforce; Working in agile development environment; Understands Configuration Audits; Understand the Software Quality Accurance Process Audits
Desired Experience:
Evaluation of compliance with security standards; Operations in a High-Performance Computing environment; Knowledge of Risk Management Framework; Experience with Cloud; DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) experience
