The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a long-lived team responsible for the operation oftheapplication portfolio for production optimization and reporting.

  • In this team you will get to build subsurface competence as well as IT-competence. You will be working with ourcore systemsfor production reporting,well allocation, production history as well as tools used forwell planning and operations.

  • Work with configuration of new systems, maintenance andchangeson existing systems, and participate in dialogue with users and technical support.

  • We are organized as a competence center with presence in Bergen, Stavanger,Trondheimand Oslo, however this position isplanned atthe Stavanger office, as that iswherethe main activities arelocated.

You

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. 

  • Experience in Oracle and working with databases. DBA experience would be an advantage.

  • Infrastructure knowledge such as; Windows,Linux, or Docker/containers.

  • Knowledge and experiencefrom the Subsurface discipline would be an advantage but not a requirement.

  • Innovative and creative mindset, with the ability to be forward leaning.

  • Strong motivation to learn, both in general and specifically regarding data models and practical aspects of wells, facilities and operations within the production domain of subsurface.

  • Curious and eager to workin a team with a variety of task within system operations, both on the infrastructure and application side.

  • Self-driven team player who will give and receive feedback, and contribute to establishing best practices and common guidelines.  

  • Able to communicate well both in English and Norwegian, oral and written.
