The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver the future of Energy IT solutions, IT architecture and integration.

  • Establish Product strategy and vision planning with Product Owner / Solution Owner.

  • Participate in Application Portfolio planning with Enterprise Architect.

  • Hold accountability for application development life cycle and drive optimalisation of work methodology, process, and framework with our vendors.

  • Decide high level architecture and be involved in Architecture Networks.

  • Build and grow both IT and business knowledge.

  • Take a lead role with our engaged teams and drive key initiatives forward by setting technical direction.

  • For those that are at the earlier stages of their career, you will have the opportunity to develop your existing skills and become an expert in the above mentioned tasks.

Due to business growth, we are looking to hire IT Solution Architects (mid to senior level) to join our Project Deliveries process area, a large community of IT specialists that are collectively contributing to Equinor’s digitalisation journey. We use in-depth knowledge of technology, systems, software development, as well as our expertise in business process, to make valuable contributions to energy technology projects.

You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related fields. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

  • Experience gained with either software development or IT architecture work; or for those wishing to be considered for the Senior level position, 8+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Ideally, have experience with i.e., SAP, Azure, Microservice, Identity management, Owasp.

  • Experience within the functional area of Project Deliveries (would be an advantage).

  • Eagerness to bridge Equinor’s strategy to technology.

  • Excellent communication skills (fluent English, both written and oral) and a strong ability to collaborate with others – and take overall delivery responsibility.
