Leonard Bus Sales Technical Trainer in Statewide, New York

Do you have knowledge in electric vehicle and/or fuel technology with a background in research or education? Leonard Bus Sales is currently looking for a Technical Trainer to provide external training to our customers and internally to our employees on the latest technology. This is a remote position with extensive travel throughout New York. At Leonard Bus, we provide competitive pay, paid on-the-job training, and a state-of-the-art facility.- Paid time off available after your first day- Great benefit package including multiple medical options, dental, vision, 8 paid holidays, flexible spending, dependent care, and 401k with company match- Company paid benefits including short and long term disability and life insurance- Weekly pay- Apparel- Up to $2,000 referral bonus Responsibilities of Technical Trainer:- Maintains in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of all fuel and school bus connectivity/technology options offered by both Leonard Bus Sales and our competition. - Provides hands-on technical training internally and externally as required. - Provides required CDL Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) to LBS employees as required. - Educates people both internally and externally on fuel options, school bus connectivity/technology and all related information.- Assists in establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with existing and prospective customers to generate new business for Leonard Bus Sales.Minimum Requirements of the Technical Trainer are:- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and ability. - Minimum of three (3) years of relative experience.- Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications, to include researching and looking up information.- A minimum of 1 of the following 3 requirements must be already met at time of hire. - Qualified to perform CDL - Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) - OR - the ability to obtain said qualification within two year(s) of employment. - Must be maintained throughout employment- Highest level of certification available through company represented vehicle and engine manufacturers - OR - the ability to obtain said certifications within one year of employment. Must be maintained throughout employment- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (with the proper endorsements) for New York State or for the state of residence, which must be maintained throughout employment - OR - ability to obtain said license per written company policy. Minimum Salary: 65000 Maximum Salary: 85000 Salary Unit: Yearly
