EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency that empowers and supports over 62,888 people through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator to join our Staten Island Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) Program.
Position:Full-Time Administrative CoordinatorLocation:Staten Island, NYSchedule:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation:$20 per hourReports To:Program Director

As the first point of contact for clients seeking services within the Staten Island TASC program, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth program operations and providing exceptional support to clients and staff. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will help create a welcoming and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:Assist the Program Director and Supervisors in coordinating daily operations, and oversee office functions in their absence.
Client Interaction:Manage phone calls, screen inquiries, and provide a professional and welcoming reception experience.
Financial Duties:Handle petty cash and metro card disbursements, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
Administrative Tasks:Perform typing, general office duties, and maintain accurate records. Review and input client information into databases and assist with compiling monthly reports.
Office Management:Oversee office supplies and inventory, manage client intake schedules, and maintain organized storage files.
Case Coordination:Support the Case Management Unit with case preparation and ensure compliance for DOHMH audits, maintaining a detailed Audit Log.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Experience:At least one year of experience in human services or alcohol/substance abuse programs. A minimum of two years of relevant office experience, including general office tasks, typing, data entry, and computer skills.
Skills:Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), a pleasant phone manner, and the ability to work cooperatively with treatment providers and court personnel.
Technical Proficiency:Skilled in computer applications such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, email, and database software.
Language Skills:Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
