VideoMining, LLC VP, Engineering and Data Services in State College, Pennsylvania
Coordinate multiple teams involved in generating, managing, and maintaining data used in our products that produce the analytics for our clients. Oversee project execution, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, scope, and uncompromising quality standards. Formulate and update comprehensive project plans for information technology initiatives, encompassing project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing details. Collaborate with project personnel to identify and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during project execution. Generate detailed project status reports, meticulously collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Evaluate the performance of project team members, providing constructive feedback and maintaining thorough documentation of their progress. Engage in negotiations with project stakeholders or suppliers to secure essential resources or materials for seamless project implementation. Identify the necessity for additional project resources, both initial and supplemental, as required to achieve project goals effectively. Develop and manage annual budgets for department(s), ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Create implementation plans that incorporate essential analyses, such as cost-benefit assessments or return on investment (ROI) evaluations.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent), plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, software engineer, product engineer, or related occupation.
Position also requires each of the following:
- 8 years of experience in Software and database development;
- 5 years of experience in Project Management;
- 5 years of experience in Strategic Planning;
- 5 years of experience in leading software development teams utilizing Agile methodologies; and
3 years of experience in a senior management position.
