*Quality Engineer Position: * The Quality Engineer will be actively involved in maintaining compliance to the TRS Quality Management System and relevant ISO standard as TRS strives to meet or exceed our quality objectives and improve our customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead projects and drive our Quality Management System continuous improvement efforts. Problem-solving to resolve audit findings, support maintenance of document control system, and execution of the Corrective Action Process in a timely manner will also be a key role of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and execute document control system changes, records storage, training records
Maintain and report relevant quality data (process yields, on-time delivery, document changes, CAR activity, Management Review etc.) to internal customers and support any resulting improvement projects.
Participate in vendor/customer management efforts (maintaining ASL, SCARs) etc.
Back up to key Quality Manager activities
Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of piezoceramic components.
Perform regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conforming products, customer complaints, and internal rejections.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and quality system documentation, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management system requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Support customer audits and inquiries regarding quality systems and processes.
Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control processes and procedures.

Able to work independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
Is well-organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Basic mathematical and familiarity with statistical formulas required
Drive quality improvements by working well with Operations and Process Engineering to implement quality planning tools, measurement systems, statistical techniques or other process controls.
Ability to perform additional tasks as required by management.
Complies with all safety guidelines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years working in regulated industry preferred
ISO quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
US work authorization is a precondition of employment
Experience with MRP System preferred
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic mathematical and familiarity with statistical formulas
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, participative, team-oriented environment.
