Hours: M-F 7:30-5pm, with some call coverage

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing care for patients with orthopaedic and sports medicine issues in the outpatient clinic, operating room, and inpatient setting. The APP will work in collaboration with a physician, as well as their own scheduled clinics. The patient population will be focused primarily on general orthopaedics, with some specialization of nonoperative spine and sports medicine. Office-based care will include evaluation and management of patients as well as office-procedures such as injections, wound care, suture removal, cast and dressing changes. On the job orientation and training will be provided in building these skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.

  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Relevant experience preferred.
