Centre Region Council of Governments Nature Center Supervisor in State College, Pennsylvania
Centre Region Parks and Recreation, an Agency of the Centre Region Council of Governments, is currently recruiting for a full-time Nature Center Supervisor position, who will work primarily at the Centre Region Parks and Recreation (CRPR) Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Office in State College, PA.
The Nature Center Supervisor position is part of the team that provides facility coordination, supervision, fundraising, facility management, evaluation of programming outcomes, budgeting and grant writing for the Nature Center. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being organized, proactive, and resourceful are key qualities for this position.
The job description follows this summary. This is a 40 hr./week position, typically Monday-Friday; at times, there will be additional evening/weekend hours required. A beginning salary range of $69,573-$76,530, depending on qualifications, with a competitive benefits package. Employment is contingent upon compliance with the CRPR Agency's "Child Safety Policy" regarding certifications, criminal background checks, and child abuse clearance.
