CATABUS Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in State College, Pennsylvania
Hiring for: Maintenance Supervisor 2nd Shift, 2pm – 10:30pm 3rd Shift, 10:00pm – 6:30am

As a Maintenance Supervisor at CATA you will be working with a team of dedicated employees who have committed to providing excellent service to all of our staff. Some pertinent responsibilities are:
Assists the Maintenance Manager and as necessary, acts on his or her behalf in their absence.
Supervise, train, instruct and monitor the work of the mechanics and service crew engaged in maintaining, servicing, repairing and fueling buses and other vehicles and equipment.
Ensure completed work by shop personnel meet quality, performance and safety expectations.
Responds to inquiries and pre-trip notations concerning vehicles and equipment.
Ensure that all completed work is appropriately captured and recorded in the fleet management software and that all records are accurate.
Coordinates, prepares, submits and completes warranty claims.
Communicates disciplinary actions and prepares proper paperwork related to discipline procedures.
Oversees the road call program to minimize unnecessary road calls while providing timely and efficient support to the operations department.
Conducts daily shift meeting with shop personnel to identify and resolve problems; provides guidance when needed.
Coordinates shop personnel’s shifts and assignments.
Position requires possession of, or the ability to obtain, Class A CDL with passenger endorsement,
PA State Inspection License (S7) and 609 AC certification .
CATA provides CDL training and assistance for inspection license and AC certification.

Starting salary (dependent upon experience and qualifications) $56,772.25 - $64,301.00
