Meta Data Center Campus Facility Manager in Stanton Springs, Georgia

Summary:

Meta is seeking a Data Center Campus Facility Manager to establish, lead, and scale our new Data Center. The Data Center Campus Facility Manager will establish and lead a facility operations team that will operate and maintain the data center's critical infrastructure, plan and execute projects to modernize critical and non-critical infrastructure systems, and develop the tools, processes, and safety culture necessary to effectively scale.

Required Skills:

Data Center Campus Facility Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Establish, mentor, and lead a Facility Operations team responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of our critical and non-critical infrastructure on the data center campus

  2. Lead in a fast paced, hands-on, 24/7 operating environment

  3. Develop robust processes and standards to enable efficiency and effectiveness

  4. Partner with Meta Construction and Design teams throughout the build phase to ensure operational requirements are met and the buildings are ready for operations when turned over to the Facility Operations Team. This partnership includes participation in the commissioning (Integrated System Test) for new and retrofitted data centers

  5. Collaborate with Data Center Campus Facility Manager counterparts at other sites, with the Facility Operations leadership team, and with adjacent operating teams to promote efficiencies and sharing of lessons across the global team

  6. Lead the Facility Operations team and work with peer teams to identify required engineering changes in infrastructure systems, define project scope, prioritize projects, schedule, and execute these projects

  7. Direct the development and review of operational standards, sequences of operation (SOO), and methods of procedures (MOP) for consistency and maximum system reliability

  8. Oversight of critical vendor management supporting operations and maintenance

  9. Find solutions to support reduction of operational costs and maximization of infrastructure utilization

  10. Prepare facility operations post-incident reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans

  11. Oversee automation system interfaces to ensure best possible data center performance is maintained

  12. Ensure the data center campus remains compliant with all required safety and environmental programs

  13. Respond as needed to system after hours maintenance and system complications

  14. 10-25% travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years critical operations experience

  2. 7+ years experience in team management

  3. Experience in personnel and team management, including managing Managers or large teams of contractors, in a critical operations environment

  4. Experience making decisions with minimal direction

  5. Knowledge and understanding of critical power and cooling infrastructure

  6. Experience with environmental, health and safety programs

  7. Experience communicating and presenting complex material effectively

  8. Troubleshooting and analytical skills

  9. Experience in cross functional, collaborative environments

  1. Experience or training in incident command and response

  2. Experience managing teams of 30+ people

  3. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards, including NFPA and ASHRAE

  4. B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management

  5. 15+ years operations experience

Public Compensation:

$160,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
