Job Title: Land SurveyorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will collect field data for survey preparation using surveying equipment and software, assess project needs through reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and photographs, and mainly support utility and transportation projects. The role involves performing topographical surveys, boundary surveys, utility surveys, construction layout, and GPS work.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data for survey preparation using surveying equipment and software.

• Assess project needs through reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and photographs.

• Support utility and transportation projects.

• Conduct topographical surveys, boundary surveys, utility surveys, construction layout, and GPS work.

• Travel to job sites across Westchester and Fairfield County.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of field experience in land surveying.

• Experience with topographical surveys, boundary surveys, utility surveys, construction layout, and GPS.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlsson, or Civil 3D.

• Ability to travel to job sites across Westchester and Fairfield County.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment

The work environment offers a very flexible hybrid schedule. Fieldwork typically starts around 7:00/7:30 AM and ends around 2:30 PM. If working in the office, hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
