Trexquant Investment Investor Relations Associate (USA) in Stamford, Connecticut
Trexquant is a growing systematic fund manager with a core team of highly accomplished researchers. We apply a wide variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to build investment portfolios and trade our client assets in global equity, futures, and credit markets.
As our Investor Relations Associate, you will play an integral part in our efforts to build awareness of our compelling narrative, coordinate targeted marketing materials, help execute investor outreach campaigns, as well as provide client service to our existing investors.
Responsibilities
Support and service existing investors, including preparing materials for periodic update calls, investor communications, and responses to investor due diligence.
Coordinate scheduling of investor meetings with senior management, and produce necessary materials in preparation, as well as aspects of follow-up.
Develop robust internal processes for streamlined engagement with prospective investors and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with existing investors while helping identify and engage prospective investors.
Contribute to the development of comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new investors and develop relationships with existing clients.
Enhance marketing materials such as pitch decks, website content, brochures, and thought leadership pieces
Investigate changes in the investor landscape, and articulate how changes should inform our strategy.
Prepare presentations and reports that articulate our fund’s performance, strategy, and market insights.
Coordinate with capital introduction teams and consultants to create a process of scheduling key conferences, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience in investor relations, or communications, preferably within the financial services or hedge fund industry.
Strong understanding of systematic investment strategies and the hedge fund landscape.
Analytical skills to prepare responses to investor inquiries
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
