Robert Half Deployment Engineer in Stamford, Connecticut

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Deployment Engineer in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in STAMFORD, Connecticut. The Deployment Engineer will be involved in a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting software issues, providing technical support, managing service incidents, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Windows 10/11 and Office 365 in a network environment, ensuring smooth operation of workstations.

• Install and configure computer software on workstations, ensuring optimal functionality.

• Handle phone-based, user-facing and remote technical support, also via email and Teams instant messaging.

• Utilize call tracking software to manage service incidents, service requests, vendor information, and asset management.

• Regularly review event, security, and other logs for suspicious activity or potential problems.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, phone and application related problems to minimize downtime.

• Install and configure Anti-virus software and device encryption and other software either via Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, or manually as applicable.

• Document administrative procedures and configurations for backup disaster recovery, and prepare system documentation to accurately reflect the existing environment.

• Work independently or as a team on complex tasks, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

• Manage the Service Desk/Asset Management system, ensuring inventory is up to date and current. Requirements • Proven experience as a Deployment Engineer in the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficient in Cloud Technologies and Database management

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and IBM systems

• Experience with EO/IR systems and AB Testing methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to manage Active Directory

• Proficient in Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware

• Strong knowledge of Configuration Management

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to continuous detail oriented development and learning new technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
