System One Batch Operator in Stafford, Virginia

Batch Maker

Stafford, VA

$19-20/Hour

1st Shift

Description:

  • Oversee and operate packaging equipment to ensure that all specific functions conform to process and procedure specifications.

  • Operate mixing equipment.

  • Responsible for documentation of items mixed.

  • Handle basic maintenance repairs to equipment as well as loading and unloading within safety parameters.

  • Perform line changeovers, equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure that packaged products meet quality standards of customers including but not limited to weight tolerances, overall appearance, DOT labeling and batch/identification numbers.

    Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Batch Making/Admix experience is preferred.

  • Must have previous forklift experience.

  • Must have good math skills including the ability to work with fractions, decimals and percentages.
