Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team and work on the assembly and fabrication of pipe joining, fittings, and valves. This role requires reading blueprints and assembling basic pipe components, connectors, and other parts according to job specifications. The work involves tasks similar to assembling LEGO pieces but must be done precisely according to blueprints, including cutting and grooving pipe, logging data into a computer, and forming and pressing gaskets.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to assemble pipe components and connectors.
Cut and groove pipes according to specifications.
Form and press gaskets as required.
Log data into a computer to update progress.
Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
5+ years of assembly experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of valve assembly and inspection.
Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with pipe joining, connectors, and related products.
strong work ethic.
Experience with pipe grooving and cutting.

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing setting, clean but not climate-controlled, with large fans for ventilation. Our team includes CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Mfg trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. There are about 12 total shop employees currently. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans, work shirts, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work based on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stafford, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
