Concrete Precast Apprentice

• 6:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday (50 hour work weeks)

• $24 per hour Mon-Thur $36 per hour all day Friday!!!

• DT (9panel) & standard BG

Job Description

Contractors will assist in the production of building pre-cast concrete structures for sanitation purposes and storm drains. This position involves using hand tools to ensure the integrity of the concrete form while it is drying. Tasks include smoothing out areas and ensuring no imperfections. Additional general jobs may be assigned throughout the work week.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work 50 hour work weeks

• Ability to work in a high production environment

• Nice to have - Construction/Concrete experience

• Nice to have - Labor OR Concrete experience

Work Environment

The facility spans two different buildings and a storage yard. All work is done indoors, but the job can be dirty. The temperature can be chilly in the winter and warmer in the summer. Safety is the top priority, making the environment very safe. Contractors must wear steel-toed boots. All other PPE (fluorescent vest, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and ear plugs) will be provided. Work hours are from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 50-hour work weeks.
