Salary Range: $66,000 - $70,000 (Depending on qualifications) ESSENTIAL AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems Management (70%) Manage organization-wide systems infrastructure. Implement, maintain, and monitor system processes such as backup, virus protection, and endpoint management, including MDM (Mobile Device Management). Assist with significant upgrades and changes to the information technology infrastructure and document those changes. Work with groups of users/managers to plan information technology implementations or changes to current systems. Recover processes affected during downtimes and develop system modifications, hardware, and software configurations/upgrades/maintenance. Perform monitoring and tuning, change management, technical and procedural documentation creation, and disaster recovery participation. Design, implement, manage, and monitor Windows server (on-prem or cloud), SAN disk configuration techniques, and all aspects of replication, mirroring, server snapshots, and high availability configurations for all environments. Implement, maintain, and monitor endpoint updates and patches using SCCM or equivalent. Install new or rebuild existing hardware, services, settings, directories, and storage following standards and project requirements using SAN, virtual, Windows, and cloud-based technologies. Maintain and manage cloud-based services such as Exchange Online, OneDrive, MS Entra ID, MS Purview, and MS Defender. Research and recommend automated approaches for implementation tasks and actively participate in presenting innovative ideas and technologies to the rest of the IT team and IT management. Assist with determining the technical direction of company-wide virtualization, storage, server, and cloud technologies. Provide ongoing expert knowledge to all Information Technology staff. Maintain Technical Services (30%) Manage standard operating procedures for backup and virus protection of systems infrastructure and for virus protection. Work with Support Analyst Team to manage virus protection and updates for all company systems. Participate in the management of software and hardware inventory policies and procedures, including management of the asset management systems (ServiceNow). Resolve server or cloud computing-related problems for all sites using all the available internal and external resources. Manage user account setup, changes, and deletions for networked sites and all LSS core systems. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree; or equivalent experience is required. Technical certifications such as CompTIA Server Plus, CompTIA Security Plus, Microsoft/Azure are desired. 2 years of experience in information systems, Microsoft Active Directory, basic network knowledge (DHCP, DNS, etc.) with a focus on systems integration, server management, and cloud computing (specifically in Azure) is preferred. Specialized experience in state-of-the-art technical areas, including networking, data communications, systems integration, and design of enterprise information systems, experience in a broad array of state-of-the-art technical areas including networking, data communications, systems integration, and design of enterprise information systems is required. Must be familiar with industry trends and developments. A Driver's License is required. Professional interpersonal abilities with excellent written and verbal communication. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proven teamwork and collab ration experience. Ability to construct and perform tasks to deadlines. Knowledge of software management methods, technologies, and best practices. Familiarity with compliance standards and security protocols in application management. Growth mindset for continuous professional development to stay current with technology advancements. Proficiency in project management principles and tools. Experience with consultant and vendor engagement. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Valid Driver's License.
