Responsibilities:

Surgical Technologists assist surgeons and other medical professionals in operating rooms and similar environments. Chiefly, they prepare patients, rooms and equipment for pending surgical procedures. They also assist during those procedures as part of the team of operating professionals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Completion of a surgical technologist training program.

Experience: No experience required.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Eligible to take the certifying examination offered by the National Association of Surgical Technologists.

  • Must receive and maintain Surgical Technologist certification within 6 months of employment.

  • CPR Certified

    Additional Information:

    The Birth Center is looking for a per diem CST to cover ill calls, vacations, and LOAs. All shifts. Duties include work in the operating suites as well as helping to stock rooms in the nursing unit.
