Role: Sr Developer Location: Minnesota - this is an onsite position Experience: 8-10 years Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 to $135,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Job Description: * Work with Infor BaaN ERP and BaaN ERP PCF software program, tools, and customizations. Analyze project data to determine requirements for product design specifications of different components. * Create paper model design document which includes proposed bill of material, routing, machine, and logic for BOM. Create the front-end screen documentation which is further used by order processor to input the correct data in BaaN PCF module to configure the correct windows/doors requested by the customers. Configure the Infor BaaN product configurator application by setting up the appropriate configuration data, master data or module/sub-module level. Setup the custom programs in PCF modules. Item compatibility, its pricing and lead time calculation for product using the various custom sessions and tools created specifically for this purpose in Infor BaaN PCF module. Integration testing with other systems like IQ+, MES, IDD, CPQ etc. Making sure that data flow of integration is with data integrity and accuracy using aw methodologies and tools and measure the performance of the system. Designing the necessary Infor BaaN ERP or PCF customizations to enable handling these processes. Write program code using 4gl language to develop product configuration models in Infor BaaN PCF/ERP. Use the complex mathematical and trigonometrical formulas in the programming language to calculate the correct dimensions of specific parts efficiently on automated machine. * Write the program to fetch the data using SQL from oracle database server. Ensuring that solution suggested is viable and making recommendations for optimization. Coordinate with offshore team to develop ode required to deliver the identified functionality in scope. Provide technical support for Infor BaaN PCF software maintenance. * Create project plan and provide the effort estimation of enhancement and planning, analysis, design, coding and testing for new service requests and provide production support for project applications. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related discipline * 8-10 years of development experience in BaaN ERP Product Configuration (PCF) module & Tools Module. * Good understanding of Manufacturing & Supply Chain domain * Experience with database technologies - prefer SQL and Oracle experience. * Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
