Securian Financial is seeking a passionate and skilled Sr. Auditor to join our Internal Audit department supporting technology department. In this role, you will provide high-quality consulting and advisory services to our enterprise technology division and related business functions. You will be part of a team responsible for control assessments of business, infrastructure, and development technology services, helping to evaluate existing systems, architectures, and configurations, and providing controls input on future-state technologies. As a Sr. Auditor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including performing audits of technology functions, systems, and architectures, analyzing technology and related business processes, providing consulting services to strengthen controls and manage risk, and assisting with coordination of state regulatory exams and external audits. You will also have the opportunity to partner with Internal Auditors on operational audits, with an emphasis on internal controls. Qualifications: Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills and tact to interact with all levels of associates. Proven experience in an internal audit team or demonstrated experience with identifying and mitigating risk and enhancing controls Ability to identify and balance each client's needs and expectations Ability to leverage technology and data, examine complex processes, and recommend improvements Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps, and code pipeline Holds (or willing to pursue) CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CCSP designations Financial services industry experience Securian Financial believes in hybrid work as an integral part of our culture. You will join us 2-3 days each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn't feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option.
