Casual, comfortable dress code and inclusive company culture Our Purpose: Our R&D engineers are tasked with designing and developing implant products for the Cardiac Rhythm Management Diagnostics (CRMDx) group. This includes technologies that monitor, support diagnosis and treat irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, and sudden cardiac arrest. CRMDx provides devices and therapies for a patient's entire continuum of care, from diagnostic to treatment. This division strives to innovate and create a paradigm shift that can solve unmet clinical needs and change what is possible for patients. Your Impact: Examples of meaningful work by R&D Engineering Interns: Designing, fabricating, and testing prototype devices to address clinical feedback. Analyzing large clinical databases to inform device design and procedural technique. Viewing live and recorded clinical procedures and developing test methods to replicate use. Your Qualifications: Current Bachelor's student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to quality. Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams. Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
